San Jose Mercury Herald, February 19, 1920, Volume: XCVIII, Issue 50, page 14:

“Filice – In San Jose, Cal. February 18, 1920, Mary, wife of the late Santo 
Filice, loving mother of Tony, Joseph and Carmen Filice, a native of Italy, age 
72 years.
   Funeral today (Thursday), Feb. 19, 1920, from her late residence at No. 19 
Pomona avenue at 9:20 a.m., thence to the Holy Family Church, where requiem mass 
will be celebrated at 10 a.m.  Interment Santa Clara.
   Funeral under direction of Ward Undertaking Company.”
