The Gilroy Dispatch, June 29, 1912: Harvey Fisher Dies in Oakland Harvey Fisher, son of the late Wm. Fisher, and brother of John Fisher and Mrs. J. Haun of Gilroy, Mrs. C. Cox of Los Angeles, Mrs. Thos. Craig of College Park, and Jas. Fisher of Oakland, and son of Mrs. E. Green of San Jose, died at one of the hospitals in Oakland, early Wednesday morning, where he underwent two operations for appendicitis. Harvey Fisher was born in Gilroy about 41 years ago, and was the youngest son of the family. His early youth was passed in Gilroy. Later he moved to San Jose, and was employed on the street railroad for some time. He moved from there to Oakland a few years ago. He was married to Miss Serelda Haun, a sister of John Haun. There are no children. John Fisher went to Oakland but arrived too late to see his brother alive. The body was brought to Gilroy for interment in the family plot.
