Lynch Laid to Rest in Mount Hope Final rites for Mrs. Annie Lynch, pioneer resident of Morgan Hill, were held in Johnson Funeral Home Tuesday Afternoon. Dr. John F. Wilson, pastor of the Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Lynch was a member, conducted the service. Vocal solos were "Abide With Me" and "Jesus Savior Pilot Me". Interment was in the family plot in Mount Hope Cemetery. Pall bearers were Jay Robinson, V. M. Edes, J. A. Skillcorn, Don Ward, O. C. Willard, and Wilbur Jones. Born in Ontario, Canada, September 18, 1852, Annie McIntosh was united in marriage to George R. Lynch in North Dakota in 1893. They came here from Wisconsin in 1900. In 1905 they built a home on Central Avenue where Mrs. Lynch was still living at the time of her death. Lynch died here in 1920. The last survivor of a family of 11, Mrs. Lynch had been ailing for several years, bedfast at her home here for three weeks before the end came last Sunday. Her only survivors are her two nieces of Morgan Hill, Mrs. Harold G. Ward and Mrs. J. Edward Acton, and several nieces and nephews in the east.
