L. Musser Mrs. Mazie Helen Musser passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Harkness, in Paradise Valley, January 11, 1915, after an illness of nearly three years. Mrs. Musser was born in Versailles, Pennsylvania, May 1, 1891, being only 23 years, 8 months and 16 days old when death came to relieve her sufferings. She was married on December 4, 1910 to Harry L. Musser and to them was born a son who is now 3 years old. She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harkness and besides her parents, husband and little son leaves seven brothers to mourn her loss. Although her health had been such as to cause grave anxiety for so long the near approach of the end was not realized until a few days before it came. The funeral was held from the Harkness Home Wednesday morning, Rev. M. O. Brink, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. There was a large attendance, many accompanying the remains on the long drive to Oak Hill cemetery, San Jose, where the interment took place.
