Simpson passes away Constable of Palo Alto dies At home on Channing Avenue From Heart Trouble Deceased a Memeber of Two Lodges and at One Time State Building Inspector Frederick B. Simpson, constable of Palo Alto township, of 361 Channing Aavenue, died of heart trouble. He had been seriously ill for the past two weeks. Mr Simpson had lived in Palo Alto for nineteen years and was 56 years of age. He was state building inspector under State Engineer Ellery from `1906 to 1909. The deceased belonged to the Independent Order of Foresters and the Improved Order of Red Men and was formerly a leader among the members of the Palo Alto carpenters union. Mr Simpson had been constable of Palo Alto for the past three years. He was at one time a member of the Palo Alto board of public safety. The deceased is survived by a widow and two children, Ruth and Frederick, a sister, Mrs F. B. Pitcher of Seattle and a brother George J. Simpson of Portland, Ore. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on Channing avenue. Rev. Frederick E. Morgan, pastor of the Babtist Chruch, will conduct the services. The body will be interred at Alta Mesa cemetery. Additional Comments: He was a brother to my great grandfather and I have add'l Simpson data.
