Morgan Hill Times, March 25, 1921

Hammer-Mahan

   A wedding of great interest to Morgan Hill people took place in San Jose on
Wednesday, March 30, 1921, when Miss Rose Bernice Hammer was united in marriage
to John Joseph Mahan.  The ceremony was performed at St. Mary’s church at 10
o/clock a.m. and at noon a wedding dinner was partaken of by a large number of
guests at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Hammer.  The couple
departed in the afternoon on a honeymoon trip, and upon their return next week
will take up housekeeping in their own cottage.
   Miss Rose Hammer was very popular with all who knew her during her residence
here for several years with her parents, and the Times joins a large circle of
friends in wishing the young couple success and happiness in their journey
through life.
