Dated: Dec. 4, 1857
Recorded: Feb. 3, 1858

I, L. C. Everett, desire in case my present illness should prove fatal that one-
half of all my estate, personal and real, be given to Miss Eliza V. Ferguson of 
Gilroy.  Also, it is my will that the remaining half be equally distributed 
between my legal heirs in the Atlantic States.

I hereby appoint Mr. David C. Douglas my legal Administrator or Executor.

[It appears that Lucian Everett had a store in Gilroy, Santa Clara County,
