In the passing of Mrs. Mutter Santa Cruz loses another one of its former older residents and one who enjoyed a wide acquaintance. Since removing to Watsonville, Mrs. Mutter has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Dan Leddy, where for the past eighteen months she had been somewhat invalided as a result of a stroke of paralysis. While born in Germany, Mrs. Mutter had resided in this country for the greater part of her life and during her long residence here resided on High Street. Mrs. Mutter was seventy-eight years of age and besides a son, Peter Mutter, leaves two daughters, Mrs. Dan Leddy of Watsonville and Lizzie Mutter of San Francisco. The remains are at the parlor of Wessendorf & son. Dan Leddy, a son-in-law of the deceased, was here last evening and arranged for the funeral.
