Perazzo pbperazzo@comcast.net September 9, 2004, 9:59 pm "The Davis Enterprise," Tuesday, April 2, 2002 Francis "Frank" Brown Francis "Frank" Brown of Dixon died on March 28, 2002, at his home. He was 79. He was born on Aug. 20, 1921, in Linn County, Kansas, to James Edward and Gladys Irene Brown. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1948, and he married Margaret Ford in 1959. He was also a truck driver. Additionally, he was a member of the Jennings Masonic Lodge in Dallas, Ore., the past patron of the Naomi Chapter of the Eastern Star in Dallas and a member of the Al Carter York Rite Temple in Portland. He and his wife moved to Dixon from Dallas in 1999 to be close to his family. He loved to fish and enjoyed going on many fishing trips with family and friends. He also loved to cook, and his family will always remember his wonderful Friday night enchiladas. His caring and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his brother, E.E. Brown, and daughter, Janice Ford. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Brown of Dixon; two daughters, Linda Ashton and her husband Mark of Dixon and Lisa Brown and her husband Kelly Kincaid of Deming, Wash.; two son, Bud Ford and his wife Janet of Dixon and Tom Buck of Sacramento; and eight grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, V.L. Vale of Tracy; brother, V.D. Brown of San Diego; and several nieces. Friends are invited for visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D St., Davis. The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Athens-Silveyville Masonic Lodge, 1655 Da Vinci Court, Davis. Burial will follow at the Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to the Shriners' Children's Hospital of Northern California, P.O. Box 21-4477, Sacramento, CA 95821-0477, or Yolo Hospice, P.O.
