Chris Yee 

Chris Yee dies in Suisun

Chris Yee, whose family started Cal Yees, growers, dryers, processors and
distributors of dried fruit, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 26, 1991, in Suisun.  He
was born in Suisun Dec. 24, 1925.

Mr. Yee, who bought fruit in the Winters area for many years, served in the
Merchant Marines during World War II.  He was active in the Red Cross, San
Francisco Chinese Society, California Chinese History, North Bay Medical Center
and Berkeley Chinese United Church of Christ.  He graduated with master’s
degrees from UC Berkeley and Armstrong College.

Mr. Yee is survived by three brothers and one sister.
