Book Title: Historical And Descriptive Sketch Of Sonoma County, California

SALT POINT

is a shipping place, four miles north of Timber Cove. It was first settled, as
we have elsewhere stated, by Hendy & Duncan, and was once a place of
considerable business importance. The chutes, and a large tract of land around
it, are owned by a San Francisco firm.
