San Francisco Call, January 6, 1904
"Aged Banker Dies.

Sonoma, Jan. 5. - David Burris, a well-known Sonoma County banker, died at his 
residence here this morning at 3 o'clock as the result of old age.

Mr. Burris was the president of the Sonoma Valley Bank and also held a large 
interest in the Bank of Santa Rosa.  He was 76 years of age and a native of 
Missouri.  He owned valuable and extensive interests in Sonoma and Tulare 
counties." END
