Mrs. Carlton is dead
Neuralgia of the Heart Proves Fatal on Monday Morning
At her home on Santa Rosa Ave, Mrs. Nancy Carlton, wife of John Carlton, died on 
Monday AM.  The deceased had been ill for several days.  Last week she was 
attacked by neuralgia of the heart and gradually grew worse.
Mrs. Carlton was a well know resident of this city.  She was a native of Maine, 
where she was born in Sept., 1833.  She had resided in Calif. For 42 years.  In 
addition to her husband, she leaves other relatives.
The funeral will take place on Wed. afternoon at 3:00 from the First Christian 
Church; the Rev. Peter Colvin officiating.
