AN AGED WOMAN CALLED TO REST
Death of Mrs. Sarah Carlton in Santa Rosa on Thursday night.

An old resident of this city died on Thurs night at 10:00 PM in the person of 
Mrs. Sarah Carlton.  Her death on Santa Rosa Ave came after a week's illness.  
Mrs. Carlson was the widow of the late Austen Carlton, a pioneer of Santa Rosa.  
His death occurred a little over 7 months ago.
The deceased was 84 years, 5 months, and 9 days old and was an estimable woman 
with a large circle of friends.  She is survived by five children.  They are 
John Carlton and Calvin Carlton of Santa Rosa, Mrs. TW Stump of San Francisco, 
Mrs. Annie Young of Santa Rosa and Mrs. Margaret Coon of Crowell, Idaho.
Mrs. Carlton was a member of many years standing of the First Christian Church 
of Santa Rosa.  The funeral will take place from the Carlton residence at 10:30 
on Saturday morning and the Rev. Peter Colvin will officiate.  The interment 
will be in Green Valley.
