Markillie, II, 38, was a Cal-Trans employee who died in a car accident on his way home from work at "Old River Bridge". Prior to working for Cal-Trans, Robert worked in the entertainment industry. He was an actor, singer, D.J. and M.C. and worked at many clubs and radio stations in the Modesto and Valley area where he was known as "Bobby Bond." He was recently married on September 23, 2004, to Lisa Teerlink, whom he has known since high school. He leaves behind to mourn him his wife, Lisa Markillie; his children, Alec and Alexis; his mother, Peggy Reynolds Carruthers; father, Bruce Markillie; sisters, Lei Ann Barney and the late Amber Celeste Markillie-Malliband who died of a short illness 4 days after her brother; also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation: Sat., Oct. 23, 2004, 12 - 5 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson, CA. Services: Sun., Oct. 24, 11 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private. A Trust Fund has been set up in the name of Robert J. Markillie, II at Golden 1 Credit Union, 3025 McHenry Ave., Modesto, California 95350.
