Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at the Shannon Chapel, 921 12th St., Rev. A. C. STEVENS officiating. Interment, Roberts Ferry cemetery. Page 3: CIVIL WAR VETERAN OF WATERFORD IS CALLED. John HAYTER Dies at Age of 82; Native of Tennessee John A. HAYTER, 82, Veteran of the Civil War and a resident of Waterford for 40 years, died in a Modesto hospital early Sunday morning. The deceased was a native of Tennessee and a carpenter by occupation. During the Civil War he served as a private in Company H. 2nd Missouri light artillery. He leaves a widow, Alice G. HAYTER, of Waterford and two sons, William A. HAYTER, San Francisco, and Leland R. HAYTER, of Modesto. Funeral services will be held at the Shannon Funeral Chapel at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning. The Rev. A. C. STEVENS will officiate. Interment will be in the Roberts Ferry cemetery.
