Mrs. Anna Parker, 72 Succumbs Here
  Mrs. Anna V. Gruber Parker, 72, a resident of the Modesto District for the past
sixteen years, died in a 
hospital here Sunday.
  Mrs. Parker was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Modesto and
the Royal Neighbors 
in Berkeley.  She leaves two children, Mary Gray of Sacramento and Bessie [sic] B.
Gruber of Modesto.  
  Funeral services will be held in the Sovern Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday
with Rev. L. L. 
Loofbourow officiating.  Interment will be in the Modesto Cemetery.
  All members of the Modesto Camp, Royal Neighbors of America, are requested by the
officers to attend 
the services.
