Walter H. Buoy Leaves Relatives In Canby
The following obtiuary of Walter H.Buoy, a relative of the O.M.Scott family is 
taken from a paper published at Altoona, California.
"Walter H.Buoy,who returned to Altoona 12 days ago after having been located 
for the past 15 years in Los Angeles,Cal., died in the Mercy hospital at 2:45 
o'clock Monday,November 17,of a complication of dieases with which he had been 
ill for the past several years.Mr.Buoy arrived in Aloona,November 5,and 
entered the hospital the following day. He was born in Altoona April 15,1870, 
a son of Austin K. and Anna Gardner Buoy,His parents moved from the city when 
he was a boy, first to Harrisburg, and subsequently to Currensville,where he 
was a member of the first class to be grauated from the Currensville high 
school.
Suviving are one sister and one brother,Mrs. Robert W.Smith and Jon Buoy of 
Holidaysburg.Mr. Buoy was a member of the Episcopal church. Services were held 
at 10 o'clock Thursday moring in the Stvens Memorial Chapel,Rev. Albion 
Ross,pastor of the Holy Trinity Episcopal church of 
Hollidaysburg,officiating.Internment wa smadse inFirviw cemetary.
