He was born in Dyer, AR, on August 28, 1919, to Charles H. and Mattie Moss, the youngest of ten children. In his early working life, he traveled throughout the East and Midwest on construction projects for Linde Air Products. He married Reba M. Cox on January 17, 1941, and they moved to California in 1946. His working career in California included a partnership with George Uhler, Superintendent for Forrest Frazier, general contractor, and from 1960 to retirement as a self-employed general contractor, well known in both commercial and residential construction. Beyond his work career, Stacy was an active father, involved in his sons sports endeavors and daughters animal rescues and care of her horse. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was a longtime member of West Park Baptist Church, serving as a deacon and treasurer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba, in September 1985, and all his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Norm and his wife, Janell; his daughter, Thea Lynne Larsen; grandchildren, Stephen Moss and wife, Naomi, Shannon Gibson and husband, Jeremy; Jonathan Moss and wife, Micah, and Joseph Moss; great-grandchildren, Travis, Ashtyn, Daniel and Rebekah Moss; and special friend, Pauline Wood and her family. Our special thanks to the loving people at the Samaritan Care Home and Hoffmann Hospice. At our Dads request there will be a graveside service for the immediate family.
