Gridley, Calif., Henry N. Goode
Goode -- funeral services are planned Monday for Henry Nathaniel Goode 90 of 
Live Oak who died Thursday at Memorial Hospital in Gridley.  Following a three-
month illness.  A native of Paris, Texas he was a retired farmer, who was a 
cattle and row crop rancher in Texas for 54 years before moving to Live Oak in 
1936.  He lived in the Live Oak area for the past 35 years and resided at 9759 
P. Street at the time of his death.  He was a member of the Live Oak Church of 
the Nazarene.  Survivors include his wife Patty Goode of Live Oak; three 
daughters, Misses Bessy Elliott of Yuba City; Mrs. Mary Garrett of Live Oak and 
Mrs. Lillian Wallis of Marysville; three sons, Herman of Gridley, Allen of 
Redding and Dave of Roseville; a brother, Jack, of Escondido; 24 grandchildren, 
47 great-grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.  Funeral services are 
scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Block funeral home in Gridley.  With three 
ministers Reverend J.O. Fennell of the Live Oak Nazarene Church, Reverend Larry 
Smith of the Marysville Nazarene Church and Reverend Paul Williamson of the 
Martinez Methodist church officiating.  Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery.  
Friends may call at Block funeral home until 9 p.m. tomorrow.
