Blevins, 88, 824 Oswald Road, Sutter County, who died yesterday. A native of Colorado, he had lived in Sutter for over 50 years. Survivors include his wife, Emma of Sutter County; daughters, Elsie Schmidt of Yuba City, Delcie Amesbury of Sanger and Emily Albin of Sacramento; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Appeal Democrat, April 3, 1978, Pg B-4 Morton L. Blevins Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Ullrey Memorial Chapel for Morton Levi Blevins, 88, of 824 Oswald Road, Yuba City. He died Friday at Marysville Convalescent Hospital. A retired orchardist, he was born in Kansas and lived here 65 years. He is survived by his wife, Emma of Yuba City; three daughters, Mrs. Wesley Amesbury of Sanger, Mrs. William Albin of Sacramento and Mrs. Harvey Schmidt of Yuba City; one sister, Rebecca Bolrath of Palm Desert; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Rev. Edgar Nelson of the Yuba City First Baptist Church will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Sutter Cemetery.
