Appeal Democrat Friday April 26, 1935 Mrs E Fichter Dies Suddenly Mrs Eliza Fichter, 70, native of Sutter county and virtually a life-long resident of Sutter City died Thursday night at her home a few hours after she collapsed while walking homeward after visiting a neighbor. Mrs Fichter was well -known throughout the Sutter community and for many years owned the Fichter store there. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Gertrude Thomas of Sacramento and Mrs Lottie Kimball of Richmond and one son, A.M. Fichter of Sutter. She also leaves a brother C. W. McPherrin of Yuba City. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Lipp & Sullivan Appeal Democrat Wednesday May 1, 1935 Pg 2 Final Service Held for Eliza Fichter Funeral services for Mrs Eliza Fichter were held Sunday morning at Lipp & Sullivan chapel with the Rev S. T. Peterson officiating. Leo and E. S. Wadsworth sang accompanied by Miss Vashi Prentiss. Interment was made in the family plot at Sutter cemetery. Pallbearers were William E Forderhase, Frank Close, Marcus Dewitt, Bert Ullrey, C. H. Epperson and John Schlag
