Appeal Democrat, Thursday, May 27, 1993 Graveside services are scheduled at 3 p.m. Friday at Sutter Cemetery for lifetime Sutter County resident Emmet Thomas Frye, 87, of Yuba City, who died May 26, 1993, at his residence. He was born and raised in the Sutter Buttes. He was a retired farmer and had operated a Jersey dairy and farmed peaches, walnuts, rice and grains. Later, with his wife Frieda E. Frye, who preceded him in death, he ran an antique shop and gladiola farm. He was a member of the Yuba City Rod and Gun Club and the Franklin and Sutter County farm bureaus. He is survived by three daughters, Sally A. Broce, Sandra L. Fremd and Suzanne Reynolds, all of Yuba City; one brother, Ray A. Frye of Sutter; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The Rev. Herman Wendler of Grace United Methodist Church will officiate at the services. Memorials to the Emmet T. and Frieda E. Frye Memorial Fund, Grace United Methodist Church, 3600 S. Walton Ave., Yuba City, Calif. 95993, are suggested by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
