Appeal Democrat, Thursday, September 6, 1962 Pg 24 Warren L. Huntington - Warren L. Huntington, 66, a resident of Sutter County for the past 46 years, died this morning in a Yuba City rest home. The retired employee of the State Department of Water Resources in Sutter was a veteran of World War I. He belonged to the Yuba-Sutter Post 42 of the American Legion Society of the First Division. He served as First Sgt. of Co. H., 184th Infantry of the National Guard from 1927-1940. Survivors include a daughter, Miriam Bay Coom of Durham and a brother, Charles Huntington of Clear Lake Highlands. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Interment will at the Sutter Cemetery. The family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society.
