Marysville Daily Appeal Tuesday Jan 11, 1898 pg 1 Agnes McAuslan Dead A Young Woman Called Away In The Prime of Life. Miss Agnes McAuslan departed this life at 9:30 o'clock last night at the residence of her parents, Mr and Mrs Peter McAuslan, nine miles north of Yuba City in Sutter County. The final illness, bowel complaint was super induced by rheumatism which commenced its inroads about two months ago. Deceased was a native of Sutter county and 34 years of age. Beside her parents, one brother, William McAuslan and three sisters, Mrs W. C. Johnson who lives near Honcut, and Misses Christina and Margaret McAuslan survive. The funeral will take place from the family residence at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon the interment to be in Yuba City cemetery.
