Appeal Democrat Saturday July 18, 1987 Robert V McPherrin Funeral services are scheduled at 11 am Monday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel for longtime area resident Robert Verne McPherrin Jr, 66, of Sutter who died July 16, 1987 at Fremont Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Sutter. He was a retired superintendent for the state department of Water Resources in Sutter. He was a member of Hammonton Lodge No 433 F & A.M. in Sutter, the Yuba City branch of SIRS and Plumas Lake Golf and Country Club. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War 11. He is survived by his wife, Joyce McPherrin of Sutter; a son, Robert V McPherrin lll of Livermore; three daughters, Jill Mooney of Live Oak, Marlene McPherrin of Sutter of Sutter and Daralene Silveira of Merced; his mother, Ethel McPherrin of Sutter; a brother, Darwin McPherrin of Sutter and four grandchildren. Members of Hammonton Lodge No 433 F & A M will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Sutter cemetery. Visitation will be today from noon to 5 pm and sunday from 9 am to 5 pm at the funeral home. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested by the family.
