Appeal Democrat, Saturday, August 2, 1975 Pg A-10 McPherrin Succumbs At Home Retired almond grower Robert Verne McPherrin died yesterday at his home at 7695 Sutter Ave., Sutter, at the age of 80. McPherrin was born in the home Nov. 21, 1894 and lived his entire life here. He was the son of pioneer residents William and Authalena McPherrin, both natives of Sutter. He was a Past Master of Enterprise Lodge No. 70, F & A.M. and a member of Washington Chapter Royal Arch No. 13, Marysville Commandery No. 7 and Ben Ali Temple of the Shrine and an honorary member of the Hammonton Lodge. He also was a 50 -year member of Native Sons of the Golden West. He is survived by his wife, Ethel of Sutter; two sons, Robert V. McPherrin of Los Banos and Darwin McPherrin of Sutter; one sister, Mrs Lawton Parker of Yuba City; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 pm at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, Enterprise Lodge No 70 officiating. Burial will be at Sutter Cemetery
