Well Known Woman Passes
Sutter City, April 23, - Death yesterday claimed Mrs Marie Meier, native of Illinois 
and 57 years of age at her home near Long Bridge. She was the wife of Christian 
Meier, mother of Julian, Louis and Johanna Meier and the sister of Mrs Thomas Frye 
of Sutter City. She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters in Illinois. She 
has resided in Sutter county for the past twenty- eight years. Funeral services will 
be held from the late home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made 
in the Sutter City cemetery under the direction of Kelly Bros, of Marysville.
