Appeal Democrat Monday February 12, 1973 Dora Belle Noyes, 96, who lived in Yuba City for the past 95 years, died Saturday at the Forrest Manor Convalescent Hospital. She was born July 31, 1876 in Kansas but was brought to Yuba City as a baby. A 79-year member of the Fidelia Chapter No 56, Order of the Eastern Star, of Yuba City. Mrs Noyes is survived by a grandson, Stanley Dunn of Long Beach; a granddaughter, Marjorie Starr Neeley of San Jose; six great grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was the mother of the late Dewey Starr and Mrs Vera Dunn. Private cremation was planned today. Memorial services under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel will be announced at a later date. Mrs Noyes died Friday at the Forrest Manor Convalescent Hospital in Yuba City. A native of Kansas she had lived in this area for the past 95 years. Survivors include a granddaughter, Marjorie Neeley of San Jose; a grandson, Stanley Dunn of Long Beach; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rev. Edgar Nelson, pastor of the Yuba City First United Methodist Church will officiate at the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
