Appeal Democrat Tuesday November 17, 1987 pg A-5 Alvera A Parker Graveside services will be held Thursday for lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident Alvera Autalena Parker of Yuba City who died Nov 15, 1987 in Yuba City Care Center. She was 90. She was a Sutter native. She belonged to Fidelia Chapter No 56, Order of Eastern Star, Yuba City; Menzaleh Temple, Daughters of the Nile, Tierra Buena Womens Club; and the Pink Ladies Auxiliary of Fremont Hospital. She is survived by her granddaughter, Jerri Miller of Yuba City; three nephews, Richard McPherrin of Yuba City, Darwin McPherrin of Sutter and Al Walsh Jr of Oroville; and a great -grandson, Craig C Wood of Yuba City. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawton D Parker, a local real estate broker who died in 1976. Services begin at 3:30 pm Thursday at Sutter cemetery with officers and members of Fidelia Chapter No 56, Order of eastern star, officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from 9 am to 8 pm at Chapel of the Twin Cities
