Appeal Democrat Saturday May 4, 1991 pg A-2 Ralph E Pease Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday at Sutter Cemetery for Ralph Edson Pease, 89, of Sacramento, who died May 3, 1991 at Methodist Hospital in Sacramento. A native of Yuba City, he attended local schools before moving to Oakland where he lived for 50 years before moving to Sacramento. His parents, mark Pease and Ida Sanders were both descendents of early California families. He served as an Army corporal in World War 1 and as a Navy Lt. Commander in World War 11. He was a graduate of San Jose State College. He was retired high school instructor who taught math and music in Oakland for 35 years. He was also a member of Enterprise Lodge No 70, F & A.M. of Yuba City, the Oakland Scottish Rite Masonic Temple, the Aahmes Temple of the Shrine of Oakland, Rose Croix Shrine No 7, White Shrine of Jerusalem of San Jose, the California Retired Teachers Association and the Retired Military Officers Association. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gertrude Reines Pease of Sacramento. Members of the Enterprise Lodge No 70, F & A.M. will officiate at the services. Visitation will be from 9 am to 5 pm Monday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
