Marysville Democrat Wednesday Evening April 23, 1919 Sutter City, April 23 - William Henry Thomas, native of Tennessee, 65 years of age and a resident of California for the past 62 years died at the family home here last night following a lingering illness. Thomas was one of the best known farmers in Sutter. He was a member of the Yuba City Lodge of Odd Fellows No 185. He is survived by four sons, R. A. Thomas, J. D. Thomas and W. H. Thomas Jr all of Sutter City and T. E. Thomas who is in the service in France; two daughters, Mrs E. L. Gibson of Oroville and Mrs Walter Romelsbacher of Meridian and three sisters; Mrs J. R. True and Mrs Josephine Hodge of Santa Cruz and Mrs Eliza Alzena of Alaska. The funeral services will be held from the family home here Saturday morning at 10:30 and interment will be made in the family plot in Sutter Cemetery by R. E. Bevan & Son.
