Ruby F Wood
Rosary for Ruby Frances Wood, 95, a Meridian resident since 1917 will be said at 8 pm 
tomorrow in Ullrey Memorial Chapel. She died Friday in her home, 900 First St.
A native of Columbia, Calif., she was a graduate of the Notre Dame Conservatory of Music. 
She was a past president of the Meridian Garden Club and active in many local organizations 
including Meridian Wednesday Afternoon Club and the Methodist Quilting Club. She was the 
widow of Arthur M Wood, a Meridian farmer and the daughter of California pioneers William 
and Katherine Siebert. She is survived by a daughter, Lavene Wood Bellows of Stockton; a 
grandson and two granddaughters. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 am in Our Lady 
of Lourdes Catholic Church, Colusa. Burial will be in Meridian Cemetery.
