William Delbert Blough

Funeral services were held last Friday for William Blough of Trinity 
Center who died October 6 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. 

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana February 1, 1916, he was 65 years old. 

Mr. Blough was a resident of Trinity Center for the past 10 years. 
He was employed as a postal clerk in the Trinity Center Post Office 
for the past six years and was a custodian for the Trinity Center 
Elementary School. 

He was a veteran of World War II, a charter member of the Trinity 
Lake Lions Club and a past president of that group.

The American flag flew at half mast at the Trinity Center Post 
Office last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Both the post office 
and the elementary school closed Friday afternoon in honor of 
his memory.

Mr. Blough is survived by his wife, Janet and a son, Curtis 
both of Trinity Center, a daughter, Carol of Redding and a 
brother, Robert of La Canada. 

Services were held at McDonald-Files Mortuary in Weaverville 
officiated by Rev. John Morris of Trinity Center. Interment 
followed in the Trinity Center cemetery.

Honorary casketbearers were the members of the Trinity Lake 
Lions Club. 

Pall bearers were William Eaker, Stanley Plowman, Russ Davis, 
Gene Uparragurrie, M. B. Gullard and Richard Rymer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Center 
Volunteer Fire Department, Emergency Medical Equipment, 
c/o Dick Hamilton, P. O. Box 300, Trinity Center 96091.
