“Deaths.
BALAAM – In Berkeley, July 29, 1936, Charles Frederick Balaam, beloved husband 
of the late Gwynedd F. Balaam, loving father of Edwin C. Balaam of San 
Francisco, Norman H. and Robert F. Balaam of Berkeley and brother of Mrs. W. G. 
Davis of Exeter and W. J. Balaam of Redondo Beach.  A native of Exeter, Calif.; 
aged 58 years.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Friday, July 31, at 11:00 
o’clock a.m., at the Oakland Crematorium, Howe and Mather Streets, Oakland.  
Friends may call at Berg’s Funeral Chapel, 1936 University Avenue, until 9:30 
Friday morning.  Exeter papers please copy.” END
