L. A. LEE The sad news of the death of Mrs. L. A. Lee on November 24th from heart failure was received from Tulare, California where Mr. and Mrs. Lee resided. Mrs. L. A. Lee was twenty-three years of age at her last birthday on August 31st. Her maiden name was Addie Gibson and her home was previously in Monmouth, Iowa, where her parents still live. It was from there that Mr. Lee brought her to California nearly two years ago as his bride. Mrs. Lee was a member of Rebekah Degree Lodge, I.O.O.F. and the Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. Mr. Lee arrived at Monmouth from California on November 30th. At 11:00 a. m. the following Friday funeral services were held from the old home church, Monmouth, Rev. J. A. Hanner preached the sermon and Rev. J. Bretnall had charge of services. The remains were laid to rest at the cemetery near Monmouth.
