This building was erected by Brother J. N. Bowhay, upon the site of the original hall, to house his butcher shop and a restaurant on the ground floor and Traver Lodge on the second floor. H. P. Peacock's creamery later occupied the ground floor of the building. Here Traver Lodge held its meetings until the lodge was moved to Kingsburg in 1907. The above picture was taken in 1898.
