This is the headstone of my father. It says "Beloved son and brother; Roy 
Spicer; Jan. 14, 1906 - Dec. 29, 1972". 

Additional Comments:
My fathers name was Rowan Marvin Spicer, but he did not like his name and 
changed it himself to Roy. My parents split up in 1956 and we never saw him 
again and his family put him away so, I think, that is why being a father is 
not mentioned.
