Killed B y The Cars
Oaklnad, Cal.,April 7- Mrs Ida Lewis, 80 years old, was struck and killed by a 
local train last night. In crossing the track she dropped ten cents and 
stopped to pick it up while the train was approaching. Mrs.Lewis was crippled 
and walked with crutches. She was a well known character in Oakland. Her 
proudest boast was that she had seven children in the war of the rebellion.
