Mr.Martin has long been afflicted with pulmonary trouble.He is survived by a widow,wo was notified by message of hsi death. When the National Livestock Association was organized in denver several years ago,Mr.Martin was chosen secretary and was unanimously reelected at each annual meeting of hte organization.Through his position he became one of the best known men in the West,and he had a host fo friends. MrMartin also had an enviable newspaper career,having edited several papers the West and held important positions on others.He served the Associated Press for several years as its Denver representative. Mr.Martin superintended the taking of the first Government livestock census.
