Alderete, Enriqueta Cisneros       
 
Sept. 2, 1927 - Dec. 20, 2005

Enriqueta Cisneros Alderete died at her home in Woodland Tuesday, Dec. 20, 
2005 at age 78. 

Mrs. Alderete was born Sept. 2, 1927 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to 
Luis and Soledad (Zamora) Cisneros. She had been a Yolo County resident for 32 
years. A wife and homemaker for 57 years, she also worked at the Contadina 
cannery in Woodland for 19 years.

Survivors include Mrs. Alderete's husband of 57 years, Jose Alderete of 
Woodland; her daughters, Maria E. Dominguez, Enriqueta Alderete, Alicia A. Roa 
and her husband Fernando and Carmen Alderete and her husband Juan Romero; her 
sons, Jesus Alderete and Jose A. Alderete, all of Woodland; 20 grandchildren; 
12 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Maria L. Strachan, Josefina C. Fuentes 
both of Mexico; and her brothers, Jose Cisneros of Los Angeles, Emilio 
Cisneros of Woodland and Luis Cisneros of Mexico. She was preceded in death by 
her sons, Gregorio Alderete, Javier Cisneros and Raymundo Cisneros; her 
grandson, Jesus A. Alderete; and her parents.

The family requests memorials in Mrs. Alderete's name be directed to the Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church Building Fund, 500 California St., Woodland, 95695.

Services: A funeral is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23 at Kraft Bros. 
Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland; with interment to follow at St. Joseph's 
Cemetery. Deacon Antonio Fernandez will officiate. Kraft Bros. Funeral 
Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
