Hester Cecelia Andrews

Hester Cecelia Andrews died in Mission dela Casa in San Jose Monday, Jan. 28,
2002, at age 84.

Born June 27, 1917, in Fairfield, to the late Burt and Sadie Eigner, Mrs.
Andrews was a Yolo County resident for the past three years. She was raised in
Woodland and graduated from Woodland High School. She was a homemaker all of her
adult life. She was a member of the Unity Chapter O.E.S. No. 22.

Mrs. Andrews is survived by her children, John Andrews and wife Arlene of San
Jose and Michael Andrews of Sacramento; grandchildren, Chris Andrews of San Jose
and Kirt Diggs of Fremont; great-granddaughters, Mariah Diggs of Union City and
Cecelia Andrews of San Jose; and sister, Emily Collins of Woodland.

A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 1, at McNary's Chapel,
458 College St., Woodland, with interment to follow at the Woodland Cemetery.

McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
