Marva Elaine-Denise Bailey of Sacramento, whose family go back generations in 
Guinda, died suddenly Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005 at age 25.

Bailey was born July 20, 1980 at Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento to Carl 
Dexter and Marva (Hackett) Bailey. She worked as a customer service 
representative in retail sales, and was less than a semester away from her 
degree from Sacramento State. She had hoped to become a school teacher.

Survivors include her sons, Anthony Eli and Gabriel Rivera of Sacramento; her 
parents Carl Dexter and Marva (Hackett) Bailey of Sacramento; sister Falisia 
Bailey of Sacramento; brothers Carl Bailey and Michael Bailey of Sacramento; 
aunts Carol Bailey of Chicago, Ill., Louana Harden of Guinda, Charlotte Lopes 
of Yuba City, Carmen Hackett of Aurora, Colo., Paula Hackett Palmer of 
Sacramento, Tyra and Wanda Hackett of Seattle, Wash., Colleen Henson of 
Sacramento, and numerous uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 
26, at Kraft Bros. Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland. The family requests 
donations in Ms. Bailey's name be made to the charity of the donor's choice. 
Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with 
arrangements.
