The Masonic lodge will preside at the interment service at the Winters cemetery. A native of Placerville, Burrows was reared in Winters graduating from the local schools, and was in the dried fruit business here for a number of years. He later was a superintendent for the California Prune and Apricot Growers Association in Napa prior to his retirement to Vacaville about 15 years ago. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge no. 12 in Napa. He is survived by his wife, Fannie; a son, John Burrows of San Francisco; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Bentley of Calistoga and Mrs. Margaret Grubbs of Erie, Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren and a brother, Charles Burrows of Winters.
