Mrs. Dachtler was born June 24, 1934 in St. Helena. She had been a Yolo County resident for 60 years. She graduated from Esparto High School in 1952 and was the salutatorian of her class. She worked as a bank representative - first with American Trust, which later became Wells Fargo, then later with Bank of America, retiring after 38 years. She was a charter member of the Pedro Club, member of the Venture Club of Woodland, Mr. and Mrs. Dance Club, Esparto High Lunch Bunch and Woodland Volunteer Fireman's Support Branch. She was a 47-year member of American Lutheran Church, where she was chairwoman of Project 200, spring luncheon, craft fair/luncheon and rummage sale, property chairwoman for the church council and Sunday school teacher. Survivors include Mrs. Dachtler's husband of 47 years, Clifford R. Dachtler of Woodland; her daughter, Lori Jarvey and her husband Richard; her son, Tim Dachtler and his wife Julie; her grandchildren, Jessica and Melissa Jarvey, Jonathan, Kristen and Lawrence Dachtler, all of Woodland; her mother, Constance Reis and her husband Ronnie Reis of Woodland; her sister, Gail Edgington and her husband David of Woodland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil B. Maxwell; her in-laws, Karoline and Robert Dachtler Sr.; and her brother-in-law Robert Dachtler Jr. The family requests memorials in Mrs. Dachtler's name be directed to American Lutheran Church Foundation, 1114 College St., Woodland, 95695; Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617; or the American Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way, Suite 115, Sacramento, 95815. Services: Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at McNary's Chapel, 458 College St., Woodland. A funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17 at American Lutheran Church, 1114 College St., Woodland with Pastor Vernon Holmes officiating. Interment will be at Monument Hill Memorial Park.
