Elsa L. Motroni died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at her home in Jackson at the age 
of 85 years. She was born June 24, 1920 to George and Katrina (Bender) Dimmig 
in Acampo. Elsa was a member of the Sutter Amador Hospital Auxiliary, the 
Republican Women and the Order of the Eastern Star.

The family says of "Gramma Doug," "Our mom and grandma had a great sense of 
humor. She was an avid gardener and loved her pets. She enjoyed traveling, 
taking trips with her daughters and visiting with her friends. She loved 
spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, spoiling them with 
treats and little outings. She will be greatly missed."

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Katryn and Mel Glunt, Janet 
and Ron Bozzo all of Sutter Creek; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Floyd 
Chapman of Healdsburg; grandchildren, Greg and Martha Glunt of Rancho Murieta, 
Jeff Glunt of San Antonio, Texas, Kristi Fidel Baldenegro of Plymouth, Amy and 
Eric Buras of Fairfax, Va., Alison Bozzo of Elk Grove; seven great-
grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her favorite beloved cat, Oliver.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Sunday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. at 
Rollingwood Clubhouse in Jackson. Inurnment will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 2 
p.m. at Monument Hill Memorial Park in Woodland. Memorial contributions may be 
made to Sutter Amador Hospital Auxiliary, 200 Mission Blvd. Jackson, 95642.
