Fouse, Richard Royer  
 
Aug. 14, 1924 - March 19, 2006

Richard Royer Fouse died at Woodland Memorial Hospital Sunday, March 19, 2006 
at age 81.

Mr. Fouse was born Aug. 14, 1924 in Akron, Ohio to Floyd and Jean (Sadler) 
Fouse. He graduated from North High School in Ohio in 1942 and continued his 
education at Akron University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Physics. A 
veteran of World War II, he served four years in the U.S. Army and was 
stationed in Africa, where he was in telecommunications. After his discharge 
he was employed in the aerospace industry as a physicist, until his retirement 
from Lockheed Martin in 1987.

Survivors include Mr. Fouse's wife of 60 years, Marie Fouse of Woodland; his 
daughters, Alice Pullin and her husband John of Oceanside and Sue Sunday and 
her husband Mike of Colorado; his sons, Mark Fouse of Woodland and Scott Fouse 
and his wife Melody of Thousand Oaks; seven grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Lockhart.

Services: Respecting the wishes of Mr. Fouse, private family services will be 
scheduled at a later date. Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland is assisting 
the family with arrangements.
