Elisa Galindo died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006 at age 75.

Mrs. Galindo was born in West Sacramento on June 28, 1930 to Jose and 
Areopajita (Diaz) Galindo. She was a Yolo County resident for 60 years. She 
was employed by Contadina Foods for 40 years. She was a member of Holy Rosary 
Catholic Church in Woodland

Survivors include Mrs. Galindo's husband of 53 years, Jose "Fidel" Galindo; 
her daughter, Elizabeth G. Limon of Elk Grove; her sons, Jesse Galindo and his 
wife Sandi of Woodland, Jaime Galindo and his fiancˇe Anne Bernath of 
Fostoria, Ohio; her grandchildren, Ryan Galindo and Toni Galindo of Woodland 
and Danny Limon of Elk Grove; her sisters, Manuelita Galindo, Elvira Holguin, 
Socorro Zaragoza and Teresa Orozco; and many nieces and nephews. She was 
preceded in death by her grandson, Robert "Bobby" Galindo Limon and her 
brothers, Joe Galindo and Waldo Galindo.

The family requests memorials in Mrs. Galindo's name be directed to be made to 
Holy Rosary Building Fund, 301 Walnut St., Woodland, 95695; or to the Yolo 
County Animal Services Shelter, 2640 E. Gibson Road, Woodland, 95776. 

Services: Visitation and viewing was scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, 
Jan. 11 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 301 Walnut St., Woodland. A rosary was 
recited after the visitation at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 12 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 
with Rev. Enrique Alvarez officiating. Entombment will follow the Mass at St. 
Mary's Cemetery, Sacramento. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is 
assisting the family with arrangements.
