Teresa C. "Grandma Honey" Galvan died at Woodland Healthcare on Monday, Oct. 
24 at age 70.

Mrs. Galvan was born in Rio Hondo, Texas on Sept. 10, 1935 to Aurelio and 
Esperanza (Gonzalez) Chavarria. She had been a resident of Yolo County for 42 
years. She worked for Contadina Foods, retiring after 25 years. 

Survivors include Mrs. Galvan's daughters, Oralia and her husband Pete, Enes 
and Rebecca and her husband George; her sons, David Jr., Juan and his wife 
Anna, Rosendo and his wife Tina, Daniel, Jesus, Ricardo and his wife Penny and 
Mario and his wife Marie; her grandchildren, Xochitl, Chela, Adriana, Noe, 
Ernie, David III, Kayla, Arvicio, Melissa, Jonnie, Rosendo Jr., Steven, Brian, 
Stephanie, Jesse Jr. Clarissa, Felisha, Sherry, Samuel, Mario Jr. and Matthew; 
and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 
years, David G. Galvan Sr. and her parents.

The family requests memorials in Mrs. Galvan's name be directed to The 
American Heart Association, 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, 94010 or American 
Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way, Suite 115, Sacramento, 95815.

Services: A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at Kraft Bros. 
Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland with Deacon Ed Kull of Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at St. 
Joseph's Cemetery. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors is assisting the family with 
arrangements.
