Emma Gomez passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006 at the age of 73. 
Mrs. Gomez was born in Ensenada, Mexico on Sept. 23, 1932.

Emma was employed by Campbell Soup and retired after 34 years. She enjoyed the 
years of working with her co-workers and husband. Emma enjoyed her love of 
life spending time with her family. One of the things she most enjoyed in life 
was spending time with her husband and grandkids camping. She enjoyed working 
in her flower garden and was also an avid football fan. She enjoyed life and 
those who knew her loved to hear all her wonderful jokes and the stories she 
always had to tell.

Mrs. Gomez is survived by her husband of 59 years, Manuel Gomez, her sons, 
David and Dani Gomez and her daughter Eva Robinson, all of Sacramento.

Also surviving are her brothers and sisters Alice Martinez of Roseville, 
Robert Flores, Tony Segoviano, Eddie Martinez, Helen Trejo, Dolores Miranda, 
Gloria Longoria and Isabella Lavars, all of Woodland, Richard Martinez of West 
Sacramento, Charles Martinez of Colusa, Rosie Edwards and Anita Rico of 
Sacramento. Also surviving are her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her two sons, George and Manuel, her beloved 
mother Lupe Segoviano and two brothers Johnny and Henry Flores.

Visitation and viewing will be Thursday, Jan. 12 from 1 to 8 p.m. with a 
rosary recited at 6 p.m. A memorial service will be Friday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. 
at Andrews and Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento. Inurnment 
will be private.
